A VISION BEYOND LIMITS

Where imagination meets the edge of space

The UPC Space Program is a student-led initiative that brings together engineering, science and design to develop real aerospace projects.

Our latest Kids campaign begins in space, a territory yet to be explored, a place where imagination knows no limits. In collaboration with the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and its Space Program, we took that vision beyond Earth.

Bringing together students from different disciplines, the initiative led to the design and construction of a structure capable of carrying a single frame into the stratosphere. Driven by curiosity and knowledge, the team developed a capsule engineered to withstand extreme conditions, equipped with GPS and cameras to document the entire journey.

___Elements and Instruments

Lifted by a helium balloon, the piece rose to the boundary between the atmosphere and space. There, the balloon expanded until it burst, activating a parachute system that guided its return to Earth. Today, as space begins to feel close again, that idea takes on a new meaning.

___Structure and parachute system for stratospheric payload

An initiative that reflects how curiosity, when turned into action, opens new destinations.

This is how KALEOS understands design, as a process in constant evolution, where each piece is driven by the impulse to move forward.

Because seeing was never just about looking. It is about interpreting. Transforming. Projecting.
